As you first climb the stairs up to the treehouse, you’ll find yourself on a spacious balcony amid boughs of lychee trees. Grab some fruit, sit in one of the two cozy rocking chairs, and watch as the toucans and other birds come to eat and sing.
Each Treehouse Bungalow is a tasteful mix of hardwood and glass, and has one queen sized bed and one sofa bed great for families or couples, a stunning location ten feet (3m) aloft, and a full glass wall for a panoramic jungle view right from your bed. It has a private balcony located right in the boughs a fruit trees, so that you can wakeup to bird songs or take an afternoon nap with the sloths. "My family of four stayed in a deluxe bungalow, which is a good size accommodation with two queen beds, big bathroom, small refrigerator, and outdoor sitting/hammock area that faces the jungle. Although we didn't see any animals, some guests do. It is a 20-30 minute drive to La Fortuna. After a day of hiking, rafting or zip lining, it was nice to come back to our bungalow to relax in the hammocks and enjoy the peacefulness. Heliconias Nature Lodge is a wonderful Costa Rican experience!"
